CLEVELAND OHIO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Decades of experience. A calm presence.

Enjoy your people. Be yourselves. I’ll take care of the photographs.

Hi, I’m Bill.

A man in a white shirt, blue tie, and black pants, and a woman in a white dress, standing outdoors in front of green foliage and pink hydrangeas, smiling for a photo.

That’s me with my wife, Karen, on our wedding day. After years of photographing weddings, it felt a little strange to be on the other side of the camera. Once I knew our photos were in good hands, I could relax and enjoy being with the people we love.

That’s what I want for you, too. We’ll make a plan before the wedding. On the day, I’ll step in when you need a little direction and step back for the moments that happen on their own.

A plan that lets you enjoy your day

Before the wedding, we’ll talk through the timing, the family photos you want, and who you’d especially like me to look out for. We’ll make a plan that leaves you time to be with your guests. And if things run a little late, I’ll help us adjust.

“If I could give Bill a million stars I would! MY FAMILY LOOOOOVED HIM! He made our wedding day easy and the photos are FLAWLESS! He captured everything I wanted PLUS MORE! 10/10!!! His work speaks for itself but Bill being a cool guy was the cherry on top!!!”

A wedding that feels comfortable, not complicated

Let’s Toss the Timeline Template and Make Something That Feels Like You

This is your time, your story, and your pace. There’s no pressure to commit, no push to buy, and no hard sell. I just want to understand what matters to you, help you think through your options, and see if we’re the right fit.

If we are? Fantastic. If not? I’ll still point you in the right direction.

You deserve peace of mind, beautiful memories, and someone who sees you for exactly who you are.

“I was a little nervous on my wedding day, but I felt comfortable with Bill almost immediately. He was kind, patient, flexible, intuitive, professional, and he clearly knew what he was doing!
3 weeks later, I am still getting feedback from friends and family about “the photographer.” “He was the best!” “He blended right in!” “HOW did he get that shot?” “Where did you find him??” I could go on.
We are in awe of how Bill was able to capture the most special, unplanned moments all over the property. I’m excited to recommend him!”
— Amanda Ray

I’ve worked with couples who kept their weddings small and simple. Others included grown kids, blended families, or tributes to loved ones who’ve passed.

None of it needs to feel staged or formal or “picture perfect.” It just needs to feel honest.

That’s what I document:
Real joy. Real connection. Real love.

You don’t need to be anyone but yourselves. I’ll guide you when you need it and fade into the background when you don’t.

Still Unsure? Totally Understandable.

“I wish I could give more stars. We secretly eloped two years ago and Bill was our photographer. We then had a “happily ever after party” and again reached out to Bill. He captured every moment beautifully. I cannot recommend him enough. He’s an amazing photographer and person. 10/10 recommend. I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re not comfortable in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all — and you’re far from alone.

Most couples I photograph feel exactly the same way. My job isn’t to turn you into models; it’s to help you feel relaxed enough to forget about the camera altogether.

I’ll guide you gently when needed, and step back when moments unfold naturally.

Will you help keep the day running smoothly?

Yes — quietly and efficiently.

I work closely with your timeline and vendors, anticipate transitions, and make sure nothing important is missed. You won’t feel rushed, but you also won’t feel unsure about what’s happening next.

Do you do a lot of posed photos?

Only what’s necessary — and nothing that feels forced.

Family photos are organized and efficient. Couple portraits are relaxed and natural. The rest of the day is about capturing what’s actually happening.

We care more about enjoying our wedding than creating “content.” Is that okay?

That’s exactly how I work.

Your wedding day isn’t a performance — it’s a celebration. The photos should support that, not distract from it.

Is this approach right for smaller or non-traditional weddings?

Absolutely.

Whether your wedding is intimate, unconventional, or simply focused on connection rather than spectacle, the same principles apply: preparation, calm guidance, and authentic storytelling.
