How US Bank changed it's image

I recently had the honor of photographing the luncheon  event for US Bank, which highlighted the importance of support for the National Guard and Reserve. Being a US Bank customer myself, I was pleased to know that the bank I do business with is committed to supporting the needs of its’ military employees.

The ESGR, a Department of Defense office, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.

I, like many other people never knew such a program existed, so it was highly educational to hear the details.

Ernie Stone, Ohio ESGR Employer Outreach Director, spoke about the Importance of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.

There were dual signatures from US Bank and Brigadier General Steve Koper, Ohio ESGR State Chair.

Dan Bernert, who is the AVP Corporate Sponsorships Mgr at US Bank, was the keynote speaker. His poignant remarks told the story of how US Bank accommodated his need to balance his work with his committment to the military.

These photographs highlight the fun and camaraderie among the guests, many of whom were longtime Bank employees.
